I've always been impressed with guys who can get a womans number in a matter of minutes. I personally never found it to be all that easy. The problem I had was fear. I was afraid to even bother to ask for contact information. I've since learned a few techniques that helped me out a great deal. I'm going to teach you those techniques here is this article.
Step #1: Deal With Your Fears
Getting a womans contact information isn't particularly hard. The hard part is thinking that you can get her to give you her contact information.
The best way to overcome this is to simply do it anyways. Once a woman gives you her contact information you will start to believe that it is possible. You may also want to try some visualization techniques. Before, you approach her picture her giving you her number. Seeing it in your mind makes it easier to believe.
Step #2: Give Yourself A Time Limit
Here is the truth. It doesn't take a long conversation for you to say something stupid to her. But, the longer you talk to her the more likely you are to say something stupid to her. What you have to do is give yourself a time limit.
What the time limit does is force you to get her number and get out before you say anything stupid. The time limit also gets you to put some pressure on yourself to get to the point. I recommend that you talk for no longer then 3 minutes. 1 or 2 minutes is probably all you really need. If your a good conversationalist then you can talk as long as you want.
Step #3: Have A Plan
It will help you a great deal if you know how you want things to go. A general idea of what you want to say and when you will ask for her number is a good idea. If you like to meet women in grocery stores then come up with a few things you can say to women in grocery stores. The same works for any location.
You: Your the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in a bookstore.
Her: Thank you.
You: No problem. But don't let it go to your head.
Her: I won't.
You: I would like to stand here and talk to you, but I have some places I need to go. I would like to talk to you in the future though. Write your number down so we can meet up some time in the future.
Conclusion
Getting a womans number really can be that simple. The next problem will be talking to her over the phone and getting her to commit to a date. However, that is another article all together.
