People living in Essex may not feel they receive some of the luxuries that people in London feel. Take for example theatre trips, some of the most famous theatres are based in London, therefore, it attracts bigger performances. However, this may prove to be a problem for people who are travelling outside of London. Furthermore, People in Essex may not feel they are offered the same spa treatments as they perhaps would in London, the difference is the prices are not to heavy on their pockets.
However, there are high quality Essex spas that are actually as good as London spas, the difference is that people are not always familiar with their services. The trick is to research these places through the internet or word of mouth. These spas offer a variety of services, which allow people to enjoy the luxuries of complimentary massages, facials, hair styling, manicures and pedicures, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Some of the top spas in Essex are always within easy reach from each. Below are a list of five spas to visit, based on my own experiences of visiting the spa.
Number five of my top five list of Essex spas, is Clarice House Day Spa based in Colchester. This was one of the few places that I would be left feeling invigorated and pampered. Before which I had never experienced the joys of being spoilt. This is a relatively new spa, so my experience in the hydrotherapy pool was one that I would never forget. Top this with a one off class of body pump and yoga, and you are set up for walking out of the building with an uplifted mood.
At number four, this spa is a little further out in Essex but is still local to most people. Based in Stansted the Radisson SAS Hotel provides one of the most exquisite experiences a spa can bring. The only pitfall is its distance from the main areas of Essex, It is worth the visit and all packages are reasonably priced, with services such as the Physical Body Treatment that includes, back massage, facial and body exfoliation. You will feel recharged, balanced and distressed.
Number three on my list of Essex spas to visit is Five Lakes based in Maldon. This is a country golf club as well as a hotel and spa pampering retreat. One of the great things about the Five lakes is that it can also be enjoyed by families. Therefore, you can have a spa treatment whilst your children go out to enjoy the activities offered here. Furthermore, the spa packages include detox body wrap, fruit salt scrub, manicures or pedicures and of course plenty of relaxing and holistic facials.
At number two is based in Wickford, and offers specialised treatments. These are very different the previous mentioned spas, with packages that include cellulite treatment, tattoo removal, non-surgical facial treatments, massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, hot tub jacuzzis, teeth whitening, semi permanent make-up and reflexology. This offers tailor made prescription treatments that are designed for each individual needs.
Finally, at number one of the top five Essex spas is my all time favourite is Greenwoods Hotel Spa and retreat based in Stock. This is my favourite because of the luxury packages offered for both him and her! This is a little bit more pricey, but it is worth the visit leaving you feeling revitalised, rejuvenated and restored back to your former positive self. Of course, you could turn it into a romantic break way together; why not enjoy it with the added bonus of using the gym facilities as well as the beauty treatments.
